What We Do:

Universal Jurisdiction is organizing projects during the winter, spring, and summer breaks, and will provide a vehicle for human rights discussion and research, as well as fundraising for projects. In addition, Universal Jurisdiction invites any student interested in leading a project to submit a proposal to the board and, if approved, organize the details of the project and lead the participating team members.

Universal Jurisdiction aims to:
· Help fill the enormous need for legal aid in developing nations
· Build partnerships between law students and non-governmental organizations in need of legal services
· Give students hands-on international human rights experience
· Challenge governments to respect international human rights law
